The Cellar Door
Located at Oxley in the heart of the King Valley & Milawa Gourmet Region, Sam Miranda welcomes you. As you enter a subterranean passage which leads you to our tasting area, you will experience the feeling of entering an underground cellar, streaming with light from the forty foot light tower that stands sentinal above you.
Taste the world in a glass and embark on an adventure with our rare wine varieties hailing from Italy, Spain, France and Russia. Tantalise your taste buds with crisp whites and rich earthy reds.
Our expansive terrace area is the perfect place to relax, enjoy our wines and treat yourself to seasonal local produce from the kitchen or the finest coffee and cake. In the winter, take advantage of our cosy and relaxed atmosphere and enjoy a glass of your favourite red by the fireplace.
Food -
One of the great pleasures of the mediterranean table is the lively sense on conviviality, manifested in the tradition of sharing small plates of food with the joy of wine. Keeping this in mind, our menu offers plates of the freshest seasonal and regional produce. True to the Miranda family heritage, these dishes are designed to share with friends and family, and there is sure to be something to ease that grumbling belly. We are open for light lunches from 11 -3pm and coffee and cake all day.

A picnic at Sam Miranda King Valley is a unique experience, so why not spend an afternoon at our estate, while we look after all the details.
Relax and enjoy the company of friends or that special someone as we look after you. A table set with linen, your selected wine from our cellar door and a menu inspired by the freshest seasonal and local regional produce. Our dedicated staff will direct you to your picnic site and deliver all of your needs.
Wines -
The Sam Miranda range is devoted to a selection of premium wines handcrafted by winemaker Sam Miranda and exclusive to the cellar door. Wines include Late Harvest Traminer, Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Noir, Sangiovese Barbera, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Petit Verdot and Sparkling Shiraz Durif.
Taste the world in a glass with Symphonia, a selection of rare wine varieties for the adventurous wine lover. Come and discover Pinot Grigio & Arneis (Italian), Tannat & Petit Manseng (French), along with Tempranillo (Spanish) and Saperavi (Russian). All varieties are grown at the Symphonia vineyard in Myrrhee and are the result of a passion for perfection.
High Plains is a unique range of individually handcrafted wines that boast the fresh and elegant characteristics of the King Valley. The range includes: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Rose, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Durif.
Wines under the Snow Road label are made at Sam Miranda King Valley located on the Snow Road, and just as the name implies, the wines are a made from a selection of cool climate fruit grown in the King Valley with views to some of Australia's premiere snow fields. Wines include Chardonnay Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot Pinot Noir, Cabernet Merlot, NV Sparkling white & NV Sparkling Pink.
