REVIEW:
Yoshii returns to Sydney's dining scene in this elegantly designed space in the Rocks with an open kitchen fronted by a sushi bar seating 8 giving a show of his beautifully created sushi being prepared to order. A small private room & the elegant main room (seating 24) screened from the sushi bar make up the restaurant.
Bento boxes dominate the lunch offerings each based on a different meat or vegetables, while dinner moves to another plain altogether especially with the two menus that cover many stunning dishes. The odd dish may miss but overall the food is simply beautiful.
The staff are charming & ever-helpful with an good knowledge of both food & sake.
