The view over the surrounding vineyards makes The Lane a dedicated destination for a leisurely lunch, and Adelaideans regularly make the journey giving the place a busy and buzzy vibe for such an idyllic location. The menu is based where possible on local produce (including the southern ocean), and some talented creative cooking makes it more worthy for a trip in the country. The glass doors fold back to bring the outdoors in, the stone-topped tables are simply laid, and service is friendly and helpful. The vineyard supplies three ranges of wines - all good - and will offer enough options for a glass or two.
