REVIEW:
Those who miss Balmain's lovely Riverview Hotel will rejoice that the chef has resurfaced in Glebe in a long, multi-levelled space that has a lovely sense of intimacy from soft walls, linened tables and comfortabls chairs. The food draws on Anglo-French classic training and delivers finely crafted dishes that nod to modern handling but offer the comfort of the vaguely familiar ... a pleasing enjoyment of good cooking of fine ingredients. A tidy, compact wine list makes dining a pleasure as does very charming and helpful service that knows and loves what the kitchen produces.
