REVIEW:
2 Michelin Star rated chef, formerly co-owner of the stunning Franklin Manor Tasmania, brings a new concept of dining to Surfers Paradise - Absynthe Restaurant.
Located at the world's tallest residential tower, Q1, it is an elegantly appointed space - banquetted on one side and with unusual but comfortable swivel chairs. Lighting and sound control show an attention to detail that matches the classic style of the food. Defiantly French haut cuisine that shows serious food sourcing and respect for these ingredients. A hint of whimsy mirrors what is happening at the creative end of food in France and excites the occasion.
A welcome fine-diner for the Gold Coast.
