REVIEW:
NZ cook and auther Annabel Langbein scores points with her focus on the seasons and eat fresh is chaptered into the four seasons with each having a savoury and sweet section. There is information at the start of each as to what's in season and what are the seasonal flavours. This great background for any cook - and I encounter out-of-season ingredients far to often in expensive restaurants pretending to offer fine food. Recipes are easy to folow and ingredients translate easily across the Tasman. Ms Langbein is very photogenic, and the book is packed with lots of photos of sparkling fresh and inspiring garden goodies, and the author in the garden or kitchen.
