$70 is a bit of an ask for a local cookbook but, if you're into baking in all its glory - from breads to sweets and all in between - this covers it all. The bakery itslef has deservedly developed a great following and here they give away the secrets of their baking success. Baking, as Paul Allam states, is a science and doing it successfully is about following recipes, not making it up as you go. The book gives a well-thought background to the art, and then broad-ranging sections on breads, pastries and more sweets (cakes and biscuits). Fabuolous stuffand as good a book on baking as you'll find.
