Tasting Note:
Again tasted in both cork and stelvin with interesting results, although less exaggerated that the more developed 2005. Both showed ripe red cherry fruit, oak spice, pepper and tobacco (more of this in the cork wine), hints af sweet red earth and a finely textured palate with a savoury finish. There is a lot more to come with this wine even after five years age and the bet would be for the screw cap although earlier drinking would again favour the cork closure. * * * * *
